Chest/Coffee Table
A chest is great for storing games, toys, linens and other items. If you have little or no storage in your home, a chest will definitely come in handy and a chest only adds to the décor of the room in which it is placed.
Build a chest that’s designed to have a dual purpose. This chest is not only for storage but also doubles as a coffee table for a small living area. The shape of this chest is very basic, but is the most functional for storing toys and games in. In order to give the chest more interest and appeal, dovetail joints will be used to join the sides. Details of how to create easy dovetail joints has been included in the Joints section of this project. This handy chest/coffee table is build out of pine wood and the plan has step by step instructions to get the project accomplished with ease.
