Simple Wooden Boat Plans
When using a boat to hunt duck, the boat needs to be light weight and easy to maneuver.
Build this plywood boat that measures just under 12 feet long and 3 feet wide, and weighs 50 pounds. This boat is easy to build and is best used in backwaters and marshes. This design is also called a scullboat or sneakboat, and the hull is very much like the all purpose bateau. This boat, once finished can be rowed, sculled or paddled and/or powered by a small electric or gas motor.
Take a weekend and build a boat that you can go duck hunting in and have some fun.
