Most any cook or chef can tell you that a spice rack is a must have in the kitchen. They make cooking easier by keeping your spices organized and at arm’s length. Not only is a spice rack a convenience but they also add to your kitchen décor.
This plan for a spice rack suggests using maple but any hardwood will do. The rack is built to stand on the kitchen counter but it can also be hung on the wall close to the stove where it’s needed most. The cut out heart shapes on each side of the spice rack add a country charm appeal but you can decide not to add the heart shapes if your kitchen doesn’t fit that style. This plan is easy to follow and great for the beginner woodworker.
