Porch Swing Plans
An old-fashioned porch swing is reminiscent of the romance of yesteryear and one most of us still enjoy.
You can build your own porch swing and match it to your home's d'cor. Porch swings are often exposed to the outdoor elements and they must be strong and sturdy. This swing was constructed of red oak, cut and dried and treated to provide weather protection. This plan requires some special tools and skill to build. The swing is constructed in four steps: the seat assembly, the back assembly, the arms assemblies and then installing the support chains.
A porch swing may take some time to build but what an awesome place to sit and rock and just flow with the day.
